Day 002: Leukistic Canada Goose- Jan 2. Thank you Terry Allen for the identification of this goose as a leukistic (albino) Canada Goose. I was not sure if it was a mixed-species or what exactly was the explanation for the unusual coloring. stic. Can any of the wonderful bird photographers in this community help to identify this goose? It was wtih a group of Canada Geese. It resembles a snow goose but was large, almost as large as the Canada Geese. Any Ideas? Look at the image in large size for markings on the bill.
