Tulip Fields in Bloom - N.J.

I was excited that the tulip farm in N.J. that I've enjoyed so much in past years was blooming and ready for visitors. They had been advertising that the fields were doubled in size and more than double the number of tulip bulbs planted. So......I was hoping for a really spectacular show. Sadly, it was disappointing since the tulip rows were planted with large open spaces between them vastly diluting the sense of being immersed in an endless array of colorful blooms - everything was very spread out. I walked a mile and a half into the fields and had only covered less than half the space. It was still lovely to be there and see them in bloom but the tulip landscape photo opportunities were just not there .

Pink Crabapple Blossoms

Kalanchoe Blossoms

A kolanchoe plant in beautiful full bloom. These tiny flowers are each about 1/3 of a size of a dime. The succulent house plant is native to Madagascar and closely related to the jade plant, It has an especially long bloom period and puts on a beautiful display when covered in these blossoms. . This one was a gift from a sibling and I hope that I can keep it alive and thriving.

April Pink Moonrise over NYC

Chasing a Rainbow down the River

Sundown time along the Hudson River as a storm ended.
