Hellebore Blossom

Going by alternate names of Winter Rose and Lenten Rose, these flowers are one of the earliest to bloom in spring, typically in the Lenten season, hence the common name of Lenten Rose, Native to Eurpoe, they are becoming more popularfor US gardens. They come in many viarieties and in colors ranging from white to pink to green and purple. Some varieties have leaves on the stems, some not. The flowers typically open in a bell shape and bend to face the ground.
