One World Trade- reflecting.
A view from the ground below the iconic One World Trade Center, aka Freedom Tower, as it towers high into the sky creating an architectural sculpture of angles and lines with the blue sky,, puffy cotton ball clouds and surrunding buildings reflecting in the surface. One World Trade Center NYC, also known as the Freedom Tower, is the centerpiece building of the new World Trade Center complex in lower Manhattan that is being constructed after the devastating destruction of the twin towers of the World Trade Center and the loss of thousands of lives in the attack on Sept 11, 2001. One World Trade is 104 floors high with 94 functional office space floors. Currently, it is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and the sixth tallest in the world. Designed by architect David Childs, construction began in April 2006 and the building opened in May 2015. Including the tower, the building height is 1,776 feet to signify the date that the Declaration of Independence was signed. The World Trade complex includes the memorial fountain, the 9/11 Museum, the World Trade Center Oculus transportation center and an observatory at the top of One World Trade.
