Let it Snow-Driprock Arch Central Park

A black and white view of the Central Park Driprock Arch Bridge and pedestrians in falling snow. With a red brick facade, the arch has a sandstone Gothic-detailed balustrade. Driprock carries foot, carriage and bicycle traffic on Center Drive with a pedestrian walkway underneath. The currnet walkway was originally designed as a bridle path. The arch bridge as built in 860 by Calvert Vaux and Jacob Wrey Mould.

Bethesda Terrace Winter Landscape Central Park

A black and white view of a pathway leading into Bethesday Terrace and Fountain during a snowstorm. The Angel of the Waters fountain flanks the scene on the right and the path leads the eye into the famed grand staircases and arches of the terrace. The terrace was one of the first structures built in the park and was nicknamed and know as The Heart of the Park. This is just one of a collection of images taken during this snow filled day in the park.

Winter White-Central Park Bow Bridge

Made of cast iron, the pedestrian walkway bridge, which cosses over Central Park Lake, is the largest bridge in the park measuring 87 feet (26.5 m.) in length. The ornate banisteris are decorated with interlocking circles and eight planters sit atop bas relief panels.The bridge was designed by Calvert Vaux and Jacob Wrey Mould, and completed in 1862.
