Perfect Together - N.J. and One World Trade
A landscape view of lower Manhattan and One World Trade Center on a perfect summer day with beautiful blue skies and drifting cloud, seen here from Liberty State Park in Jersey City, N.J., Liberty State Park is located on the upper New York Bay and is directly across the Hudson River from downtown NYC. The park is well over 1,000 acres and several choices of walking paths. The historic Jersey Central Railroad of New Jersey and old ferry piers are located on the northern section of the park. The terminal was the landing place for emigrants who had been processed at Ellis Island to arrive in New Jersey where they took the trains to their destination locations. Also on the north side is the beautiful 9/11l "Empty Sky Memorial" where the names of New Jersey victims of that attack are etched in the walls. Ellis Island and Liberty Island can also be seen from the park. In addition to historic structures, one of the last remaining tidal salt marshes along the Hudson River is included in the park.
