Beautiful, gently colored and shaped clouds blanket the New York Skyline and reflect on thh Hudson Yards complex with the Hudson River in the foreground in late afternoon just before te start of the golden hour. Within a half hour, the fast moving clouds had blown on past to leave a hazy grey-blue cloudless scene.

A double rainbow spans the Hudson River from the New Jersey Weehawkin waterfront extending far above and beyond the New York City Skyline. You can see the storm moving eastward with the pocket of rain and mist still partially obscuring the city buidings.

Perfect Together - N.J. and One World Trade

The park is well over 1,000 acres and several choices of walking paths. The historic Jersey Central Railroad of New Jersey and old ferry piers are located on the northern section of the park. The terminal was the landing place for emigrants who had been processed at Ellis Island to arrive in New Jersey where they took the trains to their destination locations. Also on the north side is the beautiful 9/11l "Empty Sky Memorial" where the names of New Jersey victims of that attack are etched in the walls. Ellis Island and Liberty Island can also be seen from the park. In addition to historic structures, one of the last remaining tidal salt marshes along the Hudson River is included in the park.

NJ Waterfront-NYC View

A walk along the water's edge on the Hudson River Walkway in New Jersey offers an up close view of the skyscrapers of New York city. At the waterline on the city side, the Intrepid Air and Space Museum and cruse ship piers can be seen. Currenlty open along stretches of the river, the Walkway is planned to be available, when completeed, from Bayonne N.J. at the southernmost point to the George Washington Bridge t the north.

Opening in March 2919, this is the first segment of the 'neighborhood" that will eventually include a school and a performing arts area. The tallest tower features a viewing platform on the 100th floor that will allow view all over the city.
