New York Christmas/Holidays 2014
Welcome to my collection of images of New York City windows and displays during the 2014 holiday season. As usual, the Christmas Tree and surrounding decorations at Rockefeller Center were beautiful to see. Macy's windows featured a young boy with a telescope that allowed him to experience Santa's visit to the various planets and the famous "Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus" windows were also a delight to see. Lord and Taylor offered a scene of ballet figures, a "Cardinal House" window, a vintage library filled with tiny mice, a fairy/butterfly garden filled with lavishly dressed figures with butterlfy wings, among others. Saks Fifth Avenue featured classic fairy tales this year with fairy tale figures and New York City Art Deco style backgrounds. The windows included Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Littel Red Riding Hood and other favorites. Bergdorf Good honored the arts this year with their stunning displays, featuring tributes to music, theater, architecture, literature and painting. I hope that you enjoy viewing New York City at Christmas for this year.
