Presby Memorial Iris Garden offered a magnificent richly colored and varied display of iris flowers this year. I was very happy to be able to spend time on a few different days there to photograph the blooms. On almost every one of those days, rain showers began within a few minutes of my arrival at the garden and I wound up taking many of the photographs trying to juggle the camera and an umbrella while getting quite wet. I decided to keep these 'Iris in the Rain' images in their own special folder. The rain and wind became too heavy on two of those days to continue for long but on another day, the sun peaked through after the rain and dried up many of the raindrops.
