Day 80: NY Skyline at Sundown - Mar 21. A few hours of blue sky starting late afternoon yesterday provided the opportunity for beautiful sundown light. Today, back to clouds and dreary weather. Thank you for the kind comments posted for my apple still life image yesterday.
Day 69: New York Sundown - Mar 10. So nice to see the sunshine yesterday and a beautiful sundown.
Day 287: NY Skyline Sundown - Oct 13. One of those times when the sundown light on sections of the NY skyline was just magical in the colors that painted the buildings. The two matching towers are the Time Warner Center towers located near the SW corner of Central Park. The tallest building with the crane atop is touted as the tallest residential building in NYC at 1003 feet. It will soon be surpassed by a building on Park Avenue which will be over 1300 feet high. Clearly new construction is alive and well in NYC.
Day 264: NY Skyline Worldwide Plaza - Sept 20. I never tire of the magic that sundown color can bring to the view of the NY skyline. This view is the west side of Manhattan in midtown of One Worldwide Plaza and surrounding buildings.
Day 212: NY Skyline Sundown - July 30. I can't resist beautiful skies. This was taken at the beginning of the golden hour when sundown light turns the skyline buildings into a warm gold. It was pouring rain only 30 minutes before.
Day 64: NY Skyline at Sundown - March 3, 2012. This is my second post for today. In celebration of sunshine appearing late this afternoon - finally. The reward after several rainy days was a beautiful sundown.
DAY 323: Cruise Ship Norwegian Jewel at Sundown - November 19, 2011. A crayola signt at sundown as the cruise ship departed Manhattan at the height of the today's 'golden hour' color.
