DAY 210: Reaching for the SKy - July 30 2011. Today was sunflower day. I will post the link when I have finished sorting the shots for the day if anyone is interested in seeing more sunflower photos.

DAY 209: NY Skyline Evening Storm Clouds- July 29, 2011. OK. I've already posted two images today but I had to share this unexpected visual treat. Usually when a rain or snow storm blows in, the skyline is quickly obscured. This evening, for a few moments, it was a spectacular sight as the rain poured down and clouds rolled through - and then it was gone like a mirage. - the view lost in the storm.

DAY 208: Mixed Message - July 28 2011. Come and sit a spell - or NOT :). Passed by this porch a few weeks ago and couldn't get it out of my mind so finally went back today and took a photo. Tried diffferent viersions - black and white and the origingal color but liked this effect the best.

DAY 207: NY Skyline at Sundown - July 27 2011. Another one of those spectacular few moments when the majesty of nature creates a wonderful backdrop for the NY skyline buildings at sundown.

DAY 206: NJ Sunflower Field - July 26 2011. Thanks so much to everyone who has commented on my photos recently - those comments and the support really help to keep me going when I feel stuck and unmotivated. Decided to take some time today and drive out to NW New Jersey to look for sunflowers or other farmland photo opportunities. This field was stunning in the late morning sunshine - it fairly glittered with gold color. Only one vantage point though, so limited photo opportunites, but it was beautiful to see.
