Day 299: Autumn Mosiac - Oct 25. Beautiful autumn foliage colors along the NJ Palisades.

Day 298: Autumn Trees - Oct 24. Overcast skies yesterday morning and a light drizzle - decided to take some time to photograph foliage without the deep shadows of sunlight. This shot was taken during a period of a few minutes when the skies cleared. Shortly after, the rain began again.

Day 297: NJ Palisades Fall foliage - Oct 23. Foliage color is changing along the NJ Palisades. This photo taken yesterday from a footpath along the Hudson River.

Day 296: Old Red Mill - Oct 22. Took a ride yesterday on a foliage hunt. Saw some beautiful colors but not in places where one could pull over to photograph. Did get some shots of one of my favorite places though - the Red Mlll in Clinton NJ.

Day 295: George Washington Bridge in Pink - Oct 21. Photograph of the George Washington Bridge taken last night. It is lit with pink lights for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Day 294: NJ Palisades Autumn Foliage - Oct 20. A beautiful day today. Took a ride to the NJ Palisadesa long the Hudson River to check out the status of the fall foliage. It is beginning to be just beautiful. Hope the leaves don't blow off the trees before it reaches peak color.

Day 293: Sunflower - Oct 19. Rainy, foggy, windy today. Probably not a day to get out and photograph so I'm posting one from earlier in the week. This is a sunflower found in a local garden - a holdout from summer. Yesterday when I walked past, sadly it was gone.

Day 292: Abstract - Oct 18. No chance for photos today until evening. This is a 'found' abstract - a photo of part of the wall of a elevator that is scraped down to prepare for repainting. An overhead, uncovered, yellow bulb enriched the colors of the old scraped paint.

Day 291: NY Skyline Sunrise -Chrysler Building - Oct 17. Can't resist these big, bright sunrise days.
