Day 240: Orange Sulphur Butterfly - August 27. I haven't seen an Orange Sulphur in a while and this one was stunning to watch flitting around with its gorgeous vivid color.

Day 239: Shorebird Lesser Yellowlegs - August 26. These birds are turning up in the NJ Meadowlands, along with thousands of sandpipers as they mgrate south for the winter.
