Whimsicals - For Kids Only : Whimsical Abstract Art for Children. The idea of abstract art for children came to my mind quite by accident. On a recent rainy day, I decided to create an abstract photograph for my Photo-A-Day series. I did get an image that I liked for the daily image and was about to stop but decided to play a bit more. As a result of a happy accident, this series of abstract art suitable for children's rooms or nurseries was born. I can't wait to work on more to add to this collection.

Nature's Gifts : Abstracts created by nature can be incredibly beautiful. Sometimes we are so focused on defining and categoring what we see that we don't notice the colors, patterns, lines and shapes that are part of the whole - a tree for example. This is the start of a collection of images that are purely based on just those small nuances in the larger world of nature. I hope that my 'eye' will improve so that I can discover and photograph more such images and I hope that you will enjoy viewing them.
